Indoor vs Outdoor Cleaning 101
The intent of this course is to differentiate between cleaning/disinfecting indoor versus outdoor areas.
The techniques provided may not be all inclusive. Different designs of facilities will alter specific actions. The methods and techniques described within are generic and can be adapted to fit ones needs. Outdoor areas lend themselves to utilizing some disinfectants that might otherwise be difficult to use inside (i.e. of strength of vapors). At the same time because an area is outdoors, odors can sometimes mask themselves by dilution with the seemingly infinite availability of air. It is important that staff recognizes this and clean the areas on a routine basis.
